Halloween - Frenchmen Street, New Orleans

So, I've done the Halloween ordeal for pretty much 18 years.
Tonight, however, was my first time in a New Orleans celebration for Halloween.

Out of respect for many of you who read my blog, I am going to leave out many of the things, costumes rather, I saw.  I don't it to offend any religion, political belief, or some other matter that you hold close to your heart.  So..I'm just going to keep it short and sweet.

Overall, I enjoyed seeing all the costumes.  The musicians were great. I wish there were dancing.

Those of you that are close to me, know that I have PTSD, and in overwhelming moments I tend to dissociate.  I had a period of about 20 minutes when everything is a complete blur and I don't remember a thing.  The noise of the chainsaws, the cars honking, the music, the people shouting...I'm not sure what caused it but I guess that goes to say my night was short lived.

Speaks for itself.

Dancing to Bohemian music

A tarantella?  maybe.

Binder

The best group of the night, in my opinion.  RV to the right.
